I would like to share an important development in the case of my dogs.
After contacting the American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) and explaining the circumstances of the case, I received an extremely helpful response.
I was informed that the matter had been discussed with the ADBA office manager and that they would be happy to assist me.
American Dog Breeders Association ADBA subsequently provided me directly with official registration certificates and 6-generation pedigrees for all six dogs involved in this case.
For me, this is a very important development.
These documents do not come from social media, unofficial databases or third parties. They were supplied directly by the organization maintaining the registration and pedigree records of these dogs.

What is the purpose for Purebred dog registration?
For almost three years, one of the major problems in this case has been establishing and preserving a clear record of what happened to the dogs after they were taken from my possession.
The dogs were subsequently recorded by the shelter under different names and identification numbers.
This makes the original documentation particularly important.
The American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) documents provide an independent source of information concerning:
- the registered identities of the dogs,
- their registration records,
- their pedigrees,
- their bloodlines and ancestry,
- and the historical records maintained by the registry.
I have already informed American Dog Breeders Association ADBA that these documents will be printed and submitted to the Polish court together with appropriate evidentiary motions.
ADBA also offered further assistance
ADBA has also offered to provide hard copies of the documentation if they are required.
What affected me personally was that American Dog Breeders Association ADBA specifically indicated that they did not want to place an additional financial burden on me while I am fighting to save my dogs.
After everything that has happened over the last almost three years, receiving this kind of support from an organization outside Poland means a great deal.
An important clarification
I also want to be completely clear about what this means.
American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) has not issued a legal judgment concerning the actions of Polish authorities, the shelter or any other person involved in the case.
I am not suggesting otherwise.
What American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) has done is provide its own official records concerning the dogs and offer assistance in obtaining the necessary documentation.
That distinction is important.
The legal issues will be determined by the appropriate courts and authorities.
But facts concerning the dogs themselves should be established using original documentation wherever possible.
- What happens now?
The registration certificates and six-generation pedigrees supplied directly by American Dog Breeders Association (ADBA) will become part of the evidence I intend to present to the court.
After almost three years, I believe that every available original document concerning these dogs should be examined.
- Their registered identities should matter.
- Their history should matter.
- Their documentation should matter.
And the circumstances of what happened to them should finally be established transparently.
