Morrow Farm has been a cherished part of our community for decades, providing not only scenic beauty but also a home for local wildlife. However, a new proposed development project aims to build a thousand homes on this beloved land, threatening to erase its natural charm and disrupt the balance of our neighborhood.

I grew up here, just steps away from Morrow Farm, and now I fear that the very essence of our life is in jeopardy. The impending project plans to draw an estimated 400,000 gallons of water daily from 10 commercial wells. This staggering amount of water usage will likely deplete the wells of surrounding homes, leaving residents without a reliable water source.

This isn't just about preserving a piece of land; it's about safeguarding our community’s resources and heritage. The environmental impact of this development will go beyond water scarcity; it will disrupt local ecosystems, increase traffic, strain public services, and permanently alter the character of our neighborhood.

Instead of going forward with this harmful project, we urge local authorities and developers to explore sustainable development alternatives that respect the integrity of our environment and community needs.
