I had a heart-wrenching experience at the Ashe County Animal Control in North Carolina. I was all set to adopt a playful, loving 4-month-old pitbull pup. After meeting and bonding with this sweet creature on Tuesday, I planned to bring him home on Thursday. However, upon my arrival, I was informed that he had been adopted just minutes before my arrival. The truth was far more devastating - the director of animal control, Joe Testerman, had euthanized this innocent pup under the false pretense of aggression.

This is not just about one puppy; it's about an ongoing pattern of cruelty and mismanagement by Mr. Testerman. It's unacceptable that an individual tasked with protecting animals is instead causing them harm without any valid reason.

Ashe County deserves better than this; our pets deserve better than this! We demand accountability and change in leadership at our local animal control facility to ensure no more innocent lives are lost due to unjust decisions.

We call upon local authorities and animal welfare organizations to investigate these allegations against Mr.Testerman and take appropriate action if found guilty.
