Demonstration for Forest Rights in Sadri

Today thousands of people protested in Sadri against the notification of the Kumbhalgarh National Park. LPPS director Hanwant Singh Rathore met with the District Forest Officer from Rajsamand who announced that public worries were unfounded and people would continue to have access to their temples, while animals would still be allowed to graze. He also mentioned that the plan could be cancelled.
