The people who have been serving us on the frontline this entire past year should be vaccinated first. Then the most vulnerable populations. Then the rest of us. We should know it’s safe- after having seen several months of low transmission numbers and higher and higher vaccination rates before we consider sending our students back to school. Especially considering we are at the end of the school year.
This video is about this. It’s also about the value of the common sense expressions we supposedly live by as a people yet: Some of us choose to ignore when we need them most. It cost us 500,000 lives and a one year shut down. What if we had had a sever lockdown before Kobe Bryant had died? We knew about the virus then. Our government ignored it. Wished it away. If we had locked down last January, we may have kept this virus out of the US. We might have been back at school last fall. We didn’t. We are paying the price. Maybe Kobe would even be alive:  because he wouldn’t have been allowed to fly on that fateful morning.  How many millions are faithfully mourning the 500,000 lost?  I am.

Now two wrongs, don’t make a right.
We’ve seen more than two wrongs committed here intentionally.. The way to make this right is to put safety first. Not money. We’ve already spent a lot of that needlessly because of the horrendous reaction. Not our life projects, not in person school: SAFETY. Safety first.

It’s time.
