When I wrote this petition and posted it on my fb page a lot of people friended me.  Or tried to.  A few of them wanted to know where this new voice came from.  
It comes from reason.  Not treason.

The solution to this pandemic was available for all to see.  It still is.  Look at Australia.  Complete lockdowns anytime a case appears.  990 total deaths as of January 25, 2021.  990.!

The US is close to 500,000.

The economic argument against lockdowns was short-sighted.  It was proposed by greedy, self centered people with no gravitas to do the sensible thing, no patience to be still, and no willingness to learn.

Economically it’s cost us all money and time.  Instead of locking down and preparing for the vaccine roll out the US - led by Trump- did nothing.  500,000 people dead because of it.  

Now, the vaccine is here.. But where?!?!

Nobody knows-  3,500,000 million people in the US have it as of now.  Approximately.  

But I bet your local grocery store worker doesn’t have it yet.  Why not?  Weren’t they the people that stayed open this entire time?  Aren’t they on the front line?

So, why not?  Because our priorities are broken.  Which is how we got into this mess in the first place.

The way to fix this is to do things in order.:

1) lockdowns.

2) Vaccines to front line workers.

3) Vaccines to the rest of the population.

4) Watch the numbers decline.

That’s the best, and most economical way to go.
