This failed pandemic response must serve us as a lesson on how to be prepared for the future.   It has left our people dead, our finances ruined, our public health structure shattered.. our psych tortured.  And all because the nan in charge of this country cared more about re-election, tax breaks, and his economy- not ours- than us.

We must learn from this by fully funding our public health, by fully funding pandemic response programs.  By paying more, for a better society.  And, if you are worried about how the government spends your money:  well then:  PARTICIPATE .. and make sure it’s spent well.  And make sure that there are consequences - for bad government.  Especially that which causes 400,000 plus deaths.  Yes.  If we had shut down.. one year ago today.. the virus might have been contained at our borders:  IMAGINE THAT.
