Kobe Bryant was an amazing icon on and off the basketball court. He and his lovely daughter, Gianna aka Gigi, passed away in a helicopter accident outside of Los Angeles, along with seven others. Kobe will forever be immortalized as an amazing athlete. From his dominating 81 point performance, to his five NBA titles, Kobe was nothing short of phenomenal. 

Kobe was just beginning to start the second phase of his life. His life of retirement brought him an Oscar for his animated short "Dear Basketball," and he was also spending more time doing what he loved most: being a dad. Kobe was a loving, intense, and compassionate father. The passion he had for his daughters was infinitely greater than his love for basketball, which shows how much he truly cared for his family. Gigi shared his love for basketball and that only brought them closer together. Kobe was her coach and mentor, and he even claimed that Gigi was a better player than he was at her age. Gigi had taken on the task of carrying on her father's legacy, and now she won't have the chance.

Kobe's amazing daughter was never able to make her own legacy, and her father will be forever immortalized as one of the greats. Gigi Bryant should be the cover of NBA 2K21. Kobe was an advocate for women's sports, and having Gigi as the first ever female cover athlete, she will be given a tribute that will last forever, and also make a lasting impact for women everywhere.
