24PetWatch is a scam! If you have not yet registered your pet's microchip, find a better company, because 24petwatch will only help you get some other families missing pet back to you!

I got my puppy in April. My puppy had been micro-chipped by the shelter I had gotten her from, so I went onto 24PetWatch.com registered my puppy through the 24PetWatch website and I thought I was good to go until I got a call, that I missed, but the voice mail message was about another female dog from the same litter was being registered under my name. I called them back, and found out that they had removed my dog that I had listed as mine and instead listed this other dog as mine. So I voiced my concern about the wrong puppy being listed under my information and my puppy being listed to another person, especially since I live in one state, and the other owner lives 4 states away. What would happen if one of the puppy's went missing? They might not make it back home. And so the 24PetWatch representative stated that they would fix it in their system and would make a note of what happened so there would be no more further problems.

Did they fix it? Yes. Were there more problems? Yes.

It has happened 5 more times since that initial call... and I've only had my puppy for 7 months. I received an email from them today, a fall newsletter, and all the information listed about my puppy is the wrong information for my puppy, it is instead about another puppy that is not mine. I went to the 24PetWatch website, and yet again they have deleted the information about my puppy that I had personally entered into their website and entered some other puppies information in its place. So, I have just made the call for the sixth time, contacting the missing pet line because it is almost impossible to contact someone under the 24PetWatch sales line, and the representative informed me that the puppy that that is listed under my puppies microchip that is in her ear, is listed as a male puppy, and under some other owners name of someone that I do not know.

I told them that I want this information corrected and they tell me that they have to charge me a fee to switch ownership! Seriously? I still have the same dog that I originally had, the one I personally originally registered on their site, and now they want to charge me a fee to get the right dog listed under my name because they keep deleting my puppy and replacing it with another dogs microchip number, information and name?

And then, to top it all off, they remind you that you need to pay the outstanding $40 so that your pet can be registered with them for the next year. They cannot even get it right when it's included for the first year for free and then they have the audacity to ask me for $40 for the next year!

How can this company get away with this? How can a company advertise that they will help you get your pet back to you if it goes missing when they register other owners pets to you and your pet to who knows who?

I know that I am not the first to have this experience with 24PetWatch; I have done some research and have found that it has happened to many pet owners who have been using their services.

Each of us making the call to 24PetWatch is not getting any of us anywhere. Everytime that I have called, 24PetWatch acts like this is the first time they have heard such a complaint and that it was something that I have done wrong that it has turned out this way. I am sure that if this is the experience I have had, other's have had a similar experience as well. We need to stand together against this company and demand that they stop registering the wrong pets to owners!

One voice only makes a squeak, a hundred voices makes a roar. Please help me to make a roar, help me make 24PetWatch hear that what they are doing is wrong.
