Thank you to everyone who continues to support this petition.
Here’s what has happened.
Levi Brody recently volunteered to sing the school song at assembly — and was allowed to perform on stage. What did he do to deserve that. Was he a jewish life leader? Did he get 55 signatures on a petition? The answer is simple. NO he did not, but I did
Two weeks ago, I volunteered to do the exact same thing — and I was declined.
That is not consistent. That is not equal. And it is not fair.
This petition exists because I believe opportunities at our school should not depend on who you are. If students are allowed to volunteer and sing, then that opportunity should apply to everyone — not just some.
I am not asking for special treatment. I am asking for equal treatment.
I care about our school spirit. I am willing to step up. I am willing to represent our school proudly.
The only thing missing is the chance.
Thank you for continuing to stand up for fairness and equal opportunity.
