We live in a Abingdon Virginia, VCA was open 24 hours for emergency care, 4years ago they stopped . Covid came in and now we have no emergency services we have to drive approximately an hour to get to emergency services. I have spoken to so many people, their stories are heartbreaking! Mars corporation took over VCA January 2017. My story is like a lot of others I had a Welsh bulldog her name was Buullah. She was the love of my life I had her for 13 years and 4 months, she had a seizure around midnight July 2, 2022, so this is very fresh and I’m in the grieving phase. She may have had a fighting chance if VCA was open the way it used to be! I’ve heard so many stories that would break your heart, VCA  now sends people off to this place near the airport on winding roads and if you are with the dog having seizures or they’ve been hit by a car and you are stuck with such anxiety to try to get to this place in the middle of nowhere is absolutely indescribable. I want you to help this community get VCA back 24 hour service , so we do not have to drive in the middle of nowhere crying and shouldn’t be put in that situation when you were under such duress. BIG LIABILITY! Please help me change this community because we are in need of 24 hour emergency care for our animals, and I would advise you if you go to VCA make sure they’re 24 hour service is available in your location. Mars corporation bought it for 91billion!  With that being said I’m boycotting Mars their candy bars and anything else they have anything to do with especially the dog food Petigree ,because I think what they’ve done they’re just outrageous!  So please help my community and my VCA, so they are paid for services and stay open!
