In some parts of Thailand, is it acceptable to own cats and have them live in small cages their entire life.

The cats are forced to defecate and eat within the cage. The cages are often not much bigger than the cat itself. The cats are not given any relief time out of the cages.

The cats are often a pedigree breed, such as Scottish Fold, and kept as 'ornaments' to show off.

The cat will live its entire life this way confined.

Why this has been culturised as 'fine' is beyond me, please help end this suffering trend by bringing attention to the right people.
