21+ Sex Work

21+ Sex Work
The Issue
AI cannot distinguish the difference between children and adults. 18 is too young.
You have to be 21 to purchase tobacco products, why isn't the age limit for sex work 21?
High-school should not be a recruiting ground for sex work. Orphanages, group homes and shelters need to be safe havens not prospects for human trafficking rings. The rise of missing children and human trafficking must be curtailed. The difference between children and adults is physically harder to distinguish. We should use tech more positively, not to abuse the economy. It should safe guard us, not jepordize us.
Help me send a message to congress that the US cares about our children. With enough signatures we can make a change.
My first response on reddit, subgroup for sexworkers:
Spam. We don't want misinformation posted that's against the interests of sex workers. "You have to be 21 to purchase tobacco products, why isn't the age limit for sex work 21?" This is a frivolous comparison and makes no sense. Sex Work is already illegal in the USA regardless of age. You claim High schools, orphanages, group homes and shelters are "prospects" for human trafficking rings. Based on what? Do you have any sources? Trafficking is already illegal. "The rise of missing children and human trafficking must be curtailed." is badly worded nonsense. It sounds like missing children are going to rise up and menace society. "The difference between children and adults is physically harder to distinguish." Since when? Based on what factual source of information? What does this have to do with anything? "We should use tech more positively, not to abuse the economy. It should safe guard us, not jepordize us. " This makes no sense. You haven't said what you're against, or what you're proposing. This pair of sentences is entirely meaningless. Also you spelled jeopardize incorrectly. Also, it's safeguard. Not safe guard. If you want to do something useful, read this https://www.nswp.org/sites/default/files/guide_to_legal_models_english_prf04.pdf and contact some of the organisations listed there and ask them how you can help in the fight for decriminalisation.
So of course one of the first defenses is denial. People will deny there are serious crimes and trauma that are ongoing. They will belittle your flaws. They will try to insult your intelligence and they will lie.
Sex work is legal in Nevada, US. There are several missing persons cases from "group homes" (to be unnamed) in Nevada. There is a gross amounts of profits being made from abhorant day care locations in Oklahoma (to be unnamed). There are several "massage parlors" and "webcams" across the US. There are several police departments with officers under investigation; there are several military personnel and bases under investigation for SA crimes against children and they span across the world from Asia to Europe to the middle east. Where the fuck is the accountability? Can we at least take a step in admitting there's a problem and ask for a compromise. 21 years of age is appropriate minimum age for producing porn. That's it. That's all I'm asking. A 3 year age limit difference. Thanks. Please.
The international policies differ between adult industries. The fact most pornography comes from the US is a bit alarming. The rhetoric of religious agenda covers the globe and the most extreme of spiritual beliefs seem worse to reach compromise with. Children are our future. We needs reason and motivation to live for the days ahead and beyond. The voices in the rubble of Myanmar, the children who look up in search of the next missile, the children looking at a never ending horizon for boats to help give them water, the children in cages isolated from their family for a chance at a better life, the children that run from unsafe home I to worse group homes and shelters that were meant to save them. Stop blaming money. Wars are being fought over suffrage. The vulnerable are the most at risk.
Accept shame.
Stop watching teens.
