Is it really necessary to elaborate at length on why this petition exists ?

After the sinking of the 5th installment and before the franchise has an inevitable reboot, all Die Hard fans are hoping that a miracle will happen so that John McTiernan can return to complete the series as grand as he started. with Die Hard (1988) and Die Hard with the Vengeance (1995), and give John McClain a worthy ending.
