In the Diary of a Wimpy Kid franchise, Rodrick was the older brother that constantly did stupid things and was the main source of comic relief. He was a delinquent and the older brother that your sisters friends had crushes on, and his character was SLAYED by the talented actor Devon Bostick. The current actor, Charlie Wright, as talented and attractive as he may be, is simply not what the character of Rodrick embodies. The original Rodrick was banging on the drums in his band, but this Rodrick looks like he'd be in the library reading about physics or something. I feel that I am not the only one outraged by this, and as a plea to change Rodricks actor I ask that everyone signs this petition.
