2024 Petition to make Carmelaram a permanent halt station for SMVT-NCJ 17235/17236

2024 Petition to make Carmelaram a permanent halt station for SMVT-NCJ 17235/17236
The Issue
Carmelaram station was a halt station for SMVT NCJ express trains, 17235 and 17236. For the past 10 months, this halt station has been remove, specifically for the 17235/17236 trains.
These 2 trains are everyday trains and Thousands of people who board this train from Bangalore, to anywhere in TamilNadu (Salem-Madurai-Nagercoil) - now have to take the tedious travel route to SMVT station (which is very bad choice in terms of distance/public transport connectivity/traffic jams in Inner ring road).
Carmelaram was an easily accessible station for these thousands of people who live around the ORR belt (Marathalli to Silk board).
The trains stop or halt before or after or at Carmelaram for other daily passenger trains to pass through. This timing can be adjusted and made to benefit thousands of people who will now board the trains from Carmelaram.
Most of the other trains travelling to different routes in TamilNadu - like Mysore Mayiladuthurai express stop at Carmelaram, even today. Only the SMVT to Nagercoil express has been removed from this halting at Carmelaram.
We humbly request the respective authorities to look into the matter and reintroduce and make the Carmelaram station as a permanent halt station for 17235/17236.
