Attention Brooklyn Arts High School

After spending years in a pandemic, separated from classmates, friends, teachers and extended family now is the time to celebrate the right way! We all have found it extremely disappointing that this year’s graduation celebration is happening as if we are still socially distancing. The city has reduced all restrictions but yet the graduation ceremonies are separated by departments and each child is only allowed 2 tickets for their loved ones. This doesn’t even allow siblings to come! What are Parents to due with their other children? We can’t begin to think this will work for any family situations! Children are talking about not attending due to their families can’t attend and they will not be able to see their classmates/friends graduate.

We are welling to accept 2 free tickets per child and pay $10 for any additional ticket as long as the class can graduate as a whole! This will cover some of the cost for renting a proper location for a graduation. Let’s not do the minimum for our students, let’s do the best we can do!

Please allow classmates, siblings, step parents, biological parents, grandparents, god parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends to celebrate these graduates who have worked hard during unexpected trying times to be celebrated the correct way! 

Fix this, make it right for our graduates!
