In Taiji Japan, Melon Whales and dolphins are driven into a a cove, are aggressively handled, selected for captivity to distribute to aquariums and other facilities to live a life of captivity for profit.  The ones that are not selected are slaughtered for meat. 

These sentient beings need increased protection from humans destroying their ecosystems.
