2 State Solution: A Just and Sustainable Peace for Israel and Palestine

2 State Solution: A Just and Sustainable Peace for Israel and Palestine
The Issue
A 2 state solution, Israel and Palestine, with each nation committed to peace with one another is the only hope for a just and sustainable peace. The world must exert pressure on each side to reach an agreement. The starting point should be the Oslo Accords. There are no issues for which there is not a solution.
Yes we are all aware of the current situation and condemn the barbaric acts of Hamas and express sympathy to all civilians harmed. The situation will be behind us in a matter of months. What next? If we delay the 2 state solution, then extremists on both sides win.
What can you do? Sign the petition and promote it to your friends and family. Don’t stop there. Please write to President Biden, to your Congress, religious organizations, and to the embassies of impacted countries. A very preliminary list is at the end. Feel free to add more in your comments. The petition creates awareness. But writing creates action.
Robert Kennedy said: “Some men see things as they are, and say why. I dream of things that never were, and say why not.” Let us act in that spirit.
Let us act in the spirit of James Weldon Johnson. Through our actions, let us “Lift every voice and sing, Till earth and heaven ring”
