Mitigation of Brain Drain in the Philippines

Mitigation of Brain Drain in the Philippines
The Issue
What is brain drain? Brain drain can be defined by understanding that there are highly trained or intelligent people that are immigrating to other countries in order to gain more money. This is a phenomenon which is currently occuring in the Philippines and there is an abundant amount of professional workers leaving the country. According to the bank, the Philippines experienced the largest brain drain among the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) with 64% of highly skilled workers leaving the country in 2010. (www.bworldonline.com) Competent people are advised to go out of the country and work because our government advises them. to add more, this state will be the breakdown of many things such as the quality of service in our country.
We're making a petition to stop sending off Filipino workers and instead focus on Philippines because it surely will help the country. This will boost the economy and improve the appreciation of Filipinos to our own tradition.
