Hi everyone!

I thought it was about time someone spoke up and made a stand regarding the recent news about dental staff potentially being deployed to help in other areas of the NHS!

I have decided to start this petition,
“Dental Care Professionals to be recognised as NHS!”

Not only are we not being given the option if we would like to help out...

We were the last to know about changes in dentistry during this worldwide pandemic and changes to our roles, all while being top of the exposure chart, caring for our patients!

we don’t have ANY of the benefits of NHS, NO sick pay, NO maternity pay, NO NHS badges, NO NHS pension, and are still unable to claim any of the NHS benefits. 

We pay an annual retention fee along with hours of CPD needed to be completed yearly and we have to pay out of From our wages. A large majority of us working 40+ hours a week each, just to make ends meet on our lower than living wage! (Talking mainly from dental nurses views here)

Yet our staff are being deployed during this pandemic to work places we are yet to have confirmed and prepare for, because we are apparently now classed as NHS?

After many years may i add of no recognition.

Many staff being are potentially going to be deployed to morgues, district nurses, HCAs? etc,

Yet we are not NHS employees?

Living in an area of uncertainty without any acknowledgement, This petition is to receive the benefits of NHS staff as we know.

Please sign the petition to allow Dental Care Professionals rights to be recognised and appreciated! So we can if necessary help the NHS in this worldwide crisis.
