Giraffe populations are in rapid decline throughout the continent of Africa. The personal welfare of the Giraffe has been overlooked and neglected by numerous animal facilities that are dedicated to protecting endangered species. The steady decline of Giraffes has continued to stay out of the public eye and away from media outlets. All of these contributed to the rapid population decline the giraffe has been facing for years. We want to ensure the health and well-being of the Giraffe throughout Africa. Without protective policies implemented in Africa, the Giraffe will continue to decline in numbers until they no longer roam in the open plains of Africa. We need to push for protective policies that ensure the safety of the Giraffe in the African countries in which Giraffes live. If we win, then the population of the Giraffe will slowly begin to climb and the Giraffe can live its life without fear of being poached. We must dedicate ourselves to providing the Giraffe with a sustainable future in the wild.
