Women who went to the nonprofit for help were asked to donate to little cash boxes Ruth Patrick Darlene kept in " support" meetings where she pressured these women to donate.

Those who volunteered at the fundraisers held at the Los Altos Country Club noted that cash collected from those events, never were reflected in the nonprofits books and records.
