After a decade of collecting more than $1.6 million from taxpayers and donors, WomenSV tax returns show the nonprofit spent only $3,828 on clients they claimed to help in 2021. That same year the nonprofit collected over $40,000 in PPP money that went to pay Ruth Patrick's salary. Now it appears the shady founder is looking to jump the state to Hawaii. 

Most troubling are the Santa Clara County judges who seemingly continue to protect the nonprofit and the divorce attorneys who got referrals from it. James Hoover and the Hoover Krepelka law firm sponsored the local bar's Judge Night where Judge Sunil Kulkarni was presented with the Judge of the Year award. Robert Hoover got a life time award as did former Judge James Towery. WomenSV Board Member Rachel McKenzie is the Managing Attorney at the Pro Bono Project and President of the Santa Clara County Family Law Bar Association that promoted the Judge Night and the awards that went with it. 

A month after getting the local bar award and the free dinner that came with it, Judge  Kulkarni accepted assignment on the Hoover malpractice lawsuit where four women filed declarations noting the harm WomenSV had done by acting as a divorce attorney networking and referral service, giving them no help at all. 

Two years after being awarded $250,000 in grant money from Santa Clara County Supervisor Joe Simitian, WomenSV founder bought a home in Hawaii and sold her Los Altos condo as WomenSV board member Patrice Horvath of Illuminate Properties banked a sweet commission. 

Now Simitian wants to run for Congress and replace Congresswoman Eshoo. Simitian is 75 years old and refuses to speak to the women in his district ( Los Altos, Los Gatos, and Palo Alto) about the harm the money he gave WomenSV has inflicted on them and their children.
