Just a big honest THANKYOU to you all for supporting this petition and for those of you who turned up this morning to experience those trees in the flesh. It remains to be seen whether the new owner will develop with empathy and care, innovation and creativity, or not.

This is not the end of this journey to save our urban forests! Ideas are afoot to take action in the future and establish a trust which could buy valuable pockets before they get axed.
