The Issue
To: The United Nations, International Criminal Court, European Union, United States Congress, UK Parliament, and Human Rights Organizations
We, the undersigned, call on the international community to recognize and condemn the brutal attacks against Alawite civilians in Syria. For over months thousands of Alawite men, women, and children have been subjected to heinous killings, forced displacement, and targeted violence by extremist groups. Entire villages have been destroyed, families have been massacred, and civilians have been persecuted solely based on their religious identity.
Our Demands:
1. Recognition of the targeted attacks against Alawite civilians.
2. Investigation and prosecution of those responsible for war crimes and crimes against humanity.
3. Immediate protection for Alawite civilians still under threat.
4. Humanitarian aid and asylum programs for displaced Alawites.
5. Inclusion in peace efforts to ensure their safety and representation.
The world must not remain silent while innocent civilians are targeted and killed. We demand immediate action to prevent further suffering and ensure justice.
