Today, March 11, 2026, WALB aired an update on our family’s continuing fight for Theo’s Law.
This update is important because it keeps public attention on the larger issue students with disabilities should never be excluded from graduation milestones because of disability related barriers, hospitalization, placement, lockdown restrictions, or circumstances beyond their control.
While our journey began with our son Theo, this effort has always been about more than one student. Theo’s Law is about creating lasting change so that no other family in Georgia has to fight for years just to secure dignity, recognition, and inclusion for their child.
We are grateful to WALB for continuing to cover this story and for helping bring visibility to an issue that deserves statewide attention.
Theo’s Law is still moving forward.
Georgia still needs reform.
Thank you to everyone who continues to sign, share, and support this petition. Your support is helping keep this issue alive.
