🇯🇲✈️ BOYCOTT FLIGHTS TO JAMAICA UNTIL THE PRICES DROP❗️

🇯🇲✈️ BOYCOTT FLIGHTS TO JAMAICA UNTIL THE PRICES DROP❗️
The Issue
We the undersigned, are calling for a boycott of ALL AIRLINES flying to Jamaica until ticket prices are made fair and compassionate, especially in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.
It currently costs more to fly to Jamaica than to destinations twice as far, like Australia or other Caribbean countries. These prices has ALWAYS been unjustifiable and exploitative, but especially now when Jamaica has been devastated by Hurricane Melissa.
Many Jamaicans abroad are desperate to return home to check on loved ones, to rebuild damaged homes, to help their communities recover. Yet, instead of reducing fares or offering relief flights, airlines have kept their prices sky-high.
We call on airlines such as American Airlines, TUI, Delta, JetBlue, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic, and Caribbean Airlines to:
1. Immediately lower fares to Jamaica in light of the humanitarian crisis caused by Hurricane Melissa.
2. Offer relief flights or discounted emergency fares for those trying to return home to assist their families.
3. Commit to fair and transparent pricing for Caribbean travel going forward.
Until these actions are taken, we are urging travellers worldwide to boycott all flights to Jamaica.🇯🇲
We love Jamaica, but we cannot accept this level of greed and disregard in a time of crisis.
✊🏾 Stand with us for fairness, compassion, and justice. Out Of Many, We Are One ☝🏾🇯🇲🖤💚💛
