今回の経営管理ビザの変更によって、今実際に日本で起業している人々にどのような影響を与えるのか、北海道に拠点を置く3名の方々にお話を伺いました。彼らがなぜ日本を拠点とし起業することになったのか、そしてもしも当時、経営管理ビザが今回検討されている条件であったのなら日本で起業はしていたのか……今、日本に外国人起業家として生きる彼らが、何を感じているのか。短いインタビューにはなりますが、ぜひご覧ください。

What Japan Stands to Lose
Dear supporters of the petition,
With 6 days before the closing of the call for public comments, we have produced and released a video, titled: “What Japan Stands to Lose | The Hokkaido Perspective on the BM Visa Changes”. You can watch it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oZdmTw8JJ1I
The video was made in an effort to spread awareness about the potential consequences of the proposed changes to the Business Manager visa. We sat down with three Hokkaido-based entrepreneurs, to talk about their journeys, and what these changes would mean to their ability to keep running their companies. We also dove into how it would have affected their choice of relocating to Japan, had the proposed framework been in place back when they initially relocated to Japan.
We hope that the video will be able to help raise further awareness about the potential damage the proposed changes would do to Japan, and the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the country.
