It is deeply concerning that measures like this culling plan are being pushed forward without the knowledge of local residents. This is not only about the deer—it raises serious questions about the transparency of our local government and the future of civic autonomy. Decisions that affect the community should be discussed with residents and based on a thorough assessment of risks. They must not be made behind closed doors.
We strongly oppose this plan and will continue to speak out.
