Apple Pay เป็นบริการที่อนุญาตให้ผู้ใช้ชําระเงินโดยใช้ iPhone หรือ Apple Watch ผ่านระบบ Contactless Payment และมีให้บริการในหลายประเทศทั่วโลกแล้ว ทั้งสะดวกและปลอดภัยจากการถูกโจรกรรมข้อมูลผ่านเครื่องรูดบัตร เนื่องจากในการใช้จ่ายจำเป็นต้องยืนยันตัวตนทุกครั้งผ่านระบบ Biometrics ของตัว iPhone เช่น Face ID (สแกนใบหน้า 3D) หรือ Touch ID (สแกนลายนิ้วมือ) อย่างไรก็ตาม ในประเทศไทย เรายังไม่สามารถใช้วิธีการชําระเงินที่สะดวกและปลอดภัยเช่นนี้ได้ เนื่องจากธนาคารในประเทศไทยยังไม่รองรับ

เราเชื่อว่าการสนับสนุน Apple Pay ธนาคารไทยจะไม่เพียงแต่ให้บริการที่ดีขึ้นแก่ลูกค้าเท่านั้น แต่ยังมีส่วนช่วยในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลในประเทศของเราอีกด้วย ตามรายงานของสํานักงานพัฒนาธุรกรรมอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ (ETDA) จํานวนธุรกรรมทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ในประเทศไทยเติบโตอย่างรวดเร็ว โดยแตะ 5.12 พันล้านธุรกรรมในปี 2562 เพิ่มขึ้น 33% จากปีก่อนหน้า

ดังนั้นเราจึงอยากเรียกร้องให้ธนาคารไทยทั้งหมดเริ่มให้บริการหรือสนับสนุน Apple Pay โดยเร็วที่สุด การทําเช่นนี้จะไม่เพียงแต่ตอบสนองความต้องการของลูกค้าเท่านั้น แต่ยังมีส่วนช่วยในการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจดิจิทัลในประเทศของเราอีกด้วย

ผมก็เป็นหนึ่งในคนไทยที่ไม่สามารถใช้บริการการชำระเงิน Apple Pay ในประเทศไทยได้ ผมและผู้คนอื่นๆ ที่รอคอยการมาของ Apple Pay  เชื่อว่าบริการ Apple Pay จะสามารถพัฒนาวิถีชีวิตของคุณและสังคมได้อย่างกว้างขวาง.

Apple Pay is a service that allows users to pay using iPhone or Apple Watch through the Contactless Payment system and is available in many countries around the world. Both convenient and safe from being stolen information through the card reader Because in spending, it is necessary to verify identity every time through the Biometrics system of the iPhone, such as Face ID (3D face scan) or Touch ID (fingerprint scanner). However, in Thailand we still can't use this convenient and secure payment method because our banks don't support it yet.

We believe that by supporting Apple Pay, Thai banks will not only provide better service to their customers but also contribute to the development of digital economy in our country. According to a report by the Electronic Transactions Development Agency (ETDA), the number of electronic transactions in Thailand has been growing rapidly, reaching 5.12 billion transactions in 2019, an increase of 33% from the previous year.

Therefore, we are calling on all Thai banks to start supporting Apple Pay as soon as possible. By doing so, they will not only meet the needs of their customers but also contribute to the development of digital economy in our country.
