Open letter to António Guterres
the United Nations Security general 

It is with profound shock and utter disgust that I pen this letter in response to the appalling decision made by the United Nations Security Council to hold a moment of silence in memory of the mass-murdering President of Iran, Ebrahim Raisi. Have you lost all sense of moral discernment and historical awareness? A moment of silence for a man whose hands are stained with the blood of countless innocents? This is not just an insult to the victims of his atrocities, but a disgraceful stain on the very principles the United Nations purports to uphold.

What on earth were you thinking? Are we to expect that Bin Laden might be next on your list of mourned tyrants? Will the Council hold a vigil for Hitler as well? Your actions are not only deeply offensive but also serve to legitimize the heinous acts committed by such despots. This is a slap in the face to every victim of Raisi an brutal Islamic regime and to all those who have suffered under such tyrants throughout history.

The Iranian people are outraged and appalled by this sheer display of insensitivity and moral bankruptcy. It seems that the Council has not just failed in its duty to maintain international peace and security but has utterly betrayed the very victims it is supposed to protect.

Disgraceful! Your actions are beyond comprehension and beneath contempt. The citizens of Iran, who have endured endless suffering under Islamic regime in Iran , deserve your solidarity, not your complicity.
