For many of us, the FIFA series was more than just a game; it was an experience, a tradition of bringing together friends and family for intense and enjoyable matches. However, the transition to EAFC has left us deeply disappointed. It feels like the essence of what made FIFA great has been lost. EAFC is, quite frankly, the most boring game I have ever played.
The glitches are rampant, disrupting the flow and enjoyment of a game that once allowed us to immerse ourselves in the excitement of virtual football. The player movements are unnatural and unhealthy, stripping away the realism that made each match a unique struggle of skill. On top of that, the game is flooded with Shop Packs, steering gameplay towards microtransactions rather than real sportsmanship and strategic prowess.
The sense of individuality and personality of each player seems to have vanished. Whether I'm playing as Messi or a random player as an evolution, it feels redundant, as long as they have the same player stats (PS). This lack of differentiation dilutes the players' identities, which was a cornerstone of FIFA's charm and appeal.
We understand that the evolution of a game can bring about changes, but these changes must benefit the players and improve the gaming experience. The current state of EAFC does neither. We, the passionate FIFA community, urge the developers to bring back the excitement, realism, and personal connection we felt with our players.
We ask that the developers listen to the community's feedback and work towards restoring the EA Sports FIFA series to its former glory. This could mean fixing the numerous glitches, revamping player movement mechanics for better realism, and reducing reliance on in-game purchases to create a fairer and more enjoyable gaming experience.
