SAVE OUR CHILDREN

It's All Of Our Problems:
It seems like more and more this prosperous country we live in is decaying at its very roots, our children, our only hope for the success of our future, more and more your hearing of senseless school shootings. Children full of anger and isolation only seeing one thing, Revenge, for all that hurt me and rejected me, resulting in an unconceivable result, mass murder of innocent people.
How does it get to this point, what are the triggers, when did the thought even occur in this child's mind? Well I don't think it started over nite .
It starts as a small child, like an acorn on the ground, waiting to become a massive oak tree one day and show everyone how something so small and insignificant once kicked around in the dirt finally took root and now can't be stopped.
Too many children today are emotionally neglected by the very people that are suppose to be teaching them, parents, teachers, principles, etc., yes us, whether you want to believe it or not. It's our faults for this breakdown.
So what are we to do? Do we take the child that we know struggles with social anxiety and further separate him by making him sit in the principles office all day while all the other kids are having fun at field day outside or make him use a separate bathroom because he was playing in the bathroom? Do we look the other way when we see a child excluded by his peers or bullied or push down the stairs and then told "Not to be a tattle tale". I really don't think you need a PH.D. to figure that one out. But this is actually happening in our system today.
Or do we wait and think it will all be ok and give every teacher a handgun starting to deal with the issue at its end instead of its beginning. Very strange how we removed the paddle to spank there behind,when there little,but can add a gun to put a bullet in there head when there older, go figure. Teaching a child is more than telling him 2+2=4 and every child is different but it's not hard for a person of average intelligence to identify a small child with social problems. I get it, he don't belong to you, not my problem, he can add subtract and read, my job is done. Well if that's the way you feel I hope your child or grandchild is not at school in ten years when it all comes to a head and he goes ballistic.
Raise a child in the right path and when he is older he will Not depart from it! When I was a child in school, many years ago, we all knew to get along and respect one another or get three licks by the paddle hanging by the door, not to say there wasn't a fight or two, but NEVER did you hear of such an instance of today. A spank on the behind will be forgotten tomorrow but the mental effect of being desocialized will be remembered forever and the fruit that comes from it will be devastating.
Have we really become so blind that we cannot see the forest for the trees. And if what is happening don't disturb you to the core May God have mercy on your soul, that is you have one.
