Some are advocating for a complete ban on social media for under 16s or prohibiting mobile phone use in schools, while others are pushing for a more nuanced approach, with exceptions for certain platforms or teenagers with parental consent. Many also oppose regulation, believing that teenagers should have a right to choose how they interact with the digital world.
