The students of EGBELE PRIMARY School through generations have gone through the same predicament. They suffer everyday they leave to learn, their school lacks the adequate materials for learning. You can even see from the outside how dilapidated the 'school building' looks. The roof is damaged to the extent that it can't provide shelter and shade for the students. . The project was abandoned by NDDC and the children of the community have been sitting in class everyday under the rain and scorching sun for so many years now. The saying "Rain or Shine" is a reality for them because when it rains, they are not protected. Their health is risked everytime they leave for school. The classroom is a safety hazard. How can they learn in such an environment?? Majority of us had a wonderful education (or atleast a mediocre one) with air conditioned classrooms , good tables and chairs,a roof over our heads which helped in providing a conducive environment for learning but these children of Egbele community can only dream of this. Please help the students of EGBELE PRIMARY school. They want to learn and grow so that they can provide for themselves and their families.
