Lucy is a 37 year old elephant who was stolen in 1977at the age of 2 and  brought  to the Edmonton Valley zoo in Alberta where she is the only elephant there. she llives in confined space, during the winter the only time she gets to go outside in the winter is when she goes for a walk with her trainers. elephants are usally stay with there heard, but Lucy is the ony Elephant in the edmontion zoo if they move her to a sanctuary she will have more acres to roam and other elphants to keep her company!!!
