EDIT: Guys, you do realise that the cesspool you're making in the comments in here just basically proves my whole point, right?

Contrary to some fringe users' belief, the use of the Google+ system to write and display comments is a very welcome enhancement to the Youtube system, not to mention that it also, from a programming and systems standpoint, make more sense than maintaining two separate systems that essentially do the same thing.

As such, we, the undersigned, petition Google to keep their enhancement to the Youtube system.
