Toronto has many architectural cultural landmarks that have been preserved, providing us treasured glimpses into the city's past through heritage easements given to buildings from eras gone by. Easements such as these have let old buildings go on to become beautiful new destinations today such as the Design Exchange and the Carlu; both of which are not only preserved, but enjoyed to this day by the citizens of Toronto.
The iconic Honest Ed's signage on Bathurst and Bloor deserves similar treatment, lest it go the way of Sam the Record Man and we lose yet another piece of Toronto's rich history.
