George Wilmarth "Wiley" Nickel III is an American attorney and Democratic politician, born in 1975. He currently serves as the U.S. Representative for North Carolina's 13th congressional district, a position he has held since 2023. Before his tenure in Congress, Nickel served as a member of the North Carolina Senate from 2019 to 2023. He is a dedicated member of the Democratic Party. Nickel earned a Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law, a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Tulane University, and a High School Diploma from Francis W. Parker School. His career includes roles as an Advance Associate at The White House, Founder and CEO of myReferral.com, and a Criminal Defense Attorney.
