Volker Wissing is a prominent German politician and member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP). Born on April 22, 1970, he has served in notable roles including deputy federal chairman of the FDP, secretary-general of the FDP, and Minister of Economics, Transport, Agriculture and Viticulture of Rhineland-Palatinate. Dr. Wissing, who holds a doctorate in law, has cultivated a reputation for his expertise in economic policy, tax law, and his strong advocacy for liberal democracy. He became the Federal Minister for Economics and Climate Action in December 2021.
