Victoria Spartz, born in 1978, is a Ukrainian-American politician and businesswoman serving as the U.S. representative for Indiana's 5th congressional district. A member of the Republican Party, Spartz has chosen not to join the House Republican Conference, which means she does not receive Republican committee assignments. Before her tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, which began in 2021, she represented the 20th district in the Indiana Senate. Spartz holds a Bachelor's degree in International Economics and an MBA in Economics from National University, as well as a Master's in Professional Accountancy from Indiana University. Her professional experience includes roles as a business owner, Certified Public Accountant, bank teller, and adjunct faculty at the Kelley School of Business.
