Tina Smith is a United States Senator from Minnesota, serving since 2018. A member of the Minnesota Democratic–Farmer–Labor Party, affiliated with the Democratic Party, she has been active in politics and business for many years. Before her tenure in the Senate, Smith served as Lieutenant Governor of Minnesota from 2015 to 2018. She has also held significant roles as Chief of Staff for both Minneapolis Mayor R.T.
