Ted Alexander is a distinguished American politician and public servant with a robust background in historic preservation and political science. He holds a Master's degree in Historic Preservation from Cornell University and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from the University of North Carolina, following his education at Freedom High School. Alexander has served as a State Senator representing District 44 in the North Carolina General Assembly, where he has been involved in legislative affairs. His leadership experience includes roles as Executive Director at both the Bedford Main Street Program in Virginia and the Uptown Shelby Association Main Street Program. Additionally, he has served as a New York State Senate Fellow in the Office of Senator John Daly and was the Director of the Virginia Main Street Program.
