Tackey Chan (陳德基) is an influential American politician serving in the Massachusetts House of Representatives since 2011. A resident of Quincy, Massachusetts, Chan is a dedicated member of the Democratic Party. Notably, he and Donald Wong were among the first Asian-Americans elected to the Massachusetts General Court, highlighting his commitment to diversity and representation. Born and raised in the Wollaston section of Quincy, Chan pursued his education at Boston College High School, followed by a Bachelor's degree in Politics from Brandeis University, and later earned a JD from New England Law Boston. His career includes roles such as Owner at the Law Office of Tackey Chan, Of Counsel at Boyle, Shaughnessy & Campo, and General Counsel and Legislative Director under MA State Senator Michael W. Morrissey. Chan also served as an Assistant Attorney General in Massachusetts.
