Stephen F. Sisolak is an American businessman and politician who served as the 30th governor of Nevada from 2019 to 2023. A prominent member of the Democratic Party, Sisolak is notable for being the only Democrat elected as Governor of Nevada in the 21st century. Before his tenure as governor, he served on the Clark County Commission from 2009 to 2019 and was a member of the Nevada Board of Regents from 1999 to 2008. Sisolak holds a Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas. His professional experience includes roles as a partner at Associated Industries and American Distributing Company, showcasing his strong background in both business and public service.
