Born on May 27, 1962, Perry's district, previously known as the 4th congressional district until 2019, encompasses areas around Harrisburg, York, and the surrounding suburbs in Dauphin, Cumberland, and York counties. A member of the Republican Party, Perry has a background in business and screenwriting alongside his political career. Before his tenure in the U.S. House of Representatives, he served as a member of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives from 2007 to 2012.
