Rene Cantu is a distinguished figure in education and community leadership with a robust academic and professional background. He holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Administration, as well as a Master's in Painting, both from The University of Texas at Austin. Cantu has contributed significantly to educational and multicultural initiatives in Nevada. He serves as a Board Member for District 4 at the Nevada State Education Board and has been the Vice President for Multicultural Affairs at Nevada State College. His leadership roles include Executive Director positions at the Latin Chamber of Commerce Community Foundation and Jobs for Nevada's Graduates Inc.
