Lopez has served in various impactful roles, including as a National Urban Fellow at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and as a Migrant Education Program Coordinator at the Shawnee Mission School District. His commitment to community service is further demonstrated through his work as a Youth Program Director at Grandview Park Presbyterian Church and as Vice-President of Community Programs at the Wyandotte Health Foundation, where he has contributed to enhancing community health initiatives.
