Rufus Seth Williams is an American lawyer and former district attorney known for being the first African-American district attorney in both Philadelphia and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. A member of the Democratic Party, Williams began his term as district attorney on January 4, 2010, after serving as an assistant district attorney.
